System Administrator

SPsoft is a 50-person premium technology accelerator working with Silicon Valley and fast-growing European startups. We are looking for a System Administrator to support and maintain our internal IT infrastructure and ensure smooth, secure day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Administration and support of Windows and macOS workstations
• Administration and maintenance of Linux servers
• Network and office equipment administration
• User support and troubleshooting (hardware & software)
• User and access management in Atlassian (Jira, Confluence), Slack, and Google Workspace
• Monitoring and managing billing for cloud platforms and third-party services
• Creation, rotation, and management of API keys for third-party services
• Maintenance of office IT equipment
• Procurement of computers and office equipment
• Inventory and stocktaking of IT assets
• Supporting basic information security and access control practices in line with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 requirements

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in system administration and IT support
• Experience with Google Workspace administration
• Hands-on experience with MS Windows (desktop & server), macOS, and Linux operating systems
• Good understanding of networking technologies:
  • TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Firewall
  • Practical experience with Mikrotik and Ubiquiti
• Experience with virtualization platforms such as Proxmox and/or Hyper-V
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms: GCP, AWS, Azure
• Experience with user and access management in Atlassian (Jira, Confluence) and Slack
• Experience with GitHub and/or GitLab
• Understanding of server and endpoint security best practices
• General IT and technical background
• Willingness to learn new technologies and continuously improve skills
• Intermediate English level or higher is a plus
• Strong analytical thinking, responsibility, self-organization, and team-oriented mindset
