Senior Full-stack Engineer (React/Vue+Python)

We are looking for a senior Full Stack Engineer, proficient with React/Python to join the team of one of Spsoft’s core clients, a well-founded HealthTech start-up from the US, developing/extending their Smart Platform to support people living with cancer.

Client and project description

Our client’s mission is to provide personalized support to patients living with cancer, free of charge. Their platform helps to simplify and centralize day-to-day routine and get the right information where and when patients need it. Patients can track symptoms, side effects, and mood in seconds, monitor how they’re doing over time (rather than just at a moment in time) and give more insights to the medical team.

The client’s platform uses Flutter (Mobile & Web front-end) and Python/Django. The Engineering team is about 35 ppl (various streams), 10 of which are from SPsoft.

Duties and responsibilities

• Learn Flutter on the Web and use it for further work on the project;
• Work as a part of the client’s international development team;
• Directly communicate with the Product development team in English;
• Planning, designing, developing, debugging and maintaining new features;
• Produce high-quality reusable code and deliverables;
• Your tasks distribution will be approximately 80% frontend and 20% backend;
• To be focused on the project (no freelance or side projects allowed);

Required skills and experience

• You must be a PRO in React/Vue (4+ years experience);
• Able to learn new technology (Flutter on the Web) quickly and teach others;
• Experienced in Python/Django;
• Excellent knowledge of GraphQL;
• Experience with PostgreSQL or any other relational DB;
• Good knowledge of GitHub;
• Strong written and spoken English skills are MUST;
• Ability to effectively communicate challenges and issues both verbally and written;
• Ability to solve problems in a structured manner;
• Keep up with your estimations, manage expectations;

As a plus:

• Experience with Clouds (AWS/GCP/Azure);
• Experience with Next.js, Material-UI;
• Experience with Healthcare Projects;
• Experience with FHIR;
• Experience in leading software development teams;

• Client’s Tech Interview (CTO + Team Lead);
• Call with Client’s CEO;
