Middle+ / Senior React Engineer

They are a pivotal partner in developing and creating life-changing drugs and personalized medical treatments for patients.

Who are we looking for

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Middle+ / Senior React Engineer who can both deliver hands-on solutions and provide technical leadership to the development team. The ideal candidate will excel at collaborating with clients, mentoring engineers, and driving best practices. Preferable location – Western Europe.

Duties and responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications with React, ensuring performance, scalability, and usability.
• Implement new features and improve existing ones according to project requirements.
• Collaborate closely with backend developers, QA engineers, designers, and product managers.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining coding standards and best practices.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Document technical decisions and maintain codebase clarity.
• Stay up to date with modern front-end tools, libraries, and trends.

Required skills and experience

• 3+ years of professional experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
• Strong understanding of OOP and common design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Redux and redux-saga.
• Experience working with REST APIs and WebSockets.
• Knowledge of UI testing tools such as React Testing Library (RTL), Enzyme, etc.
• Proficiency with Tailwind CSS for styling.
• Experience with Vite is a plus.
• Exposure to Preact is nice to have.
• Basic understanding of Node.js (full-stack exposure is a plus).
• Ability to self-organize using Jira and communicate effectively in a distributed team.
• Previous experience working on Healthcare/HealthTech projects is a big plus.
