Prompt Engineer – Voice AI Bots

At SPsoft, we specialize in building cutting-edge Voice AI solutions that transform how people interact with technology. We’re now expanding our team and seeking a talented Prompt Engineer to help refine and elevate the performance of our voice bots.

As a Prompt Engineer, you will design, test, and refine prompts to optimize the performance of SPsoft’s Voice AI solutions. You will collaborate closely with other team members to create natural, emotionally aware, and contextually appropriate interactions. Your work will play a critical role in improving the AI’s ability to understand user intent, recognize sentiment, and deliver helpful responses across various use cases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and fine-tune prompts to ensure the Voice AI bots deliver clear, accurate, and human-like conversations.
• Conduct experiments with prompt structures, language variations, and tone to optimize the quality of voice interactions.
• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate prompts with underlying AI models.
• Analyze performance metrics (accuracy, engagement rates, etc.) to identify areas for improvement.
• Debug and troubleshoot prompt-related issues to improve the robustness of conversational flows.
• Maintain prompt libraries and documentation to support continuous development and scalability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience working with large language models (LLMs).
• Strong command of prompt design principles for conversational AI, including context control, user intent recognition, and sentiment adaptation.
• Familiarity with voice interfaces and speech-to-text systems.
• Ability to iterate quickly based on user testing and analytics.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills to evaluate prompt performance and model output.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Will be a plus:

• Experience with Python.
• Experience in compliance-related projects (HIPAA, SOC 2, etc.).
• Experience working in healthcare or telemedicine-related conversational AI solutions.
• Hands-on experience with speech synthesis and voice emotion recognition technologies.
