Part-time QA Engineer (Native Arabic speaker)

We seek a part-time (15-20 hours per week) QA Engineer to assist in testing Arabic-speaking voice AI Agents. The ideal candidate will be a native Arabic speaker in the UAE or KSA with strong spoken and written English skills and experience in web and mobile application testing.

Duties and responsibilities

• Evaluate the quality and naturalness of Arabic speech-to-text (STT) and text-to-speech (TTS) models.
• Assess how well the bot handles intent recognition, entity recognition (e.g., names, numbers, dates), context, and interruption handling in Arabic.
• Help identify and evaluate best-in-class STT and TTS solutions for Arabic-speaking AI agents, with a focus on regional dialects and diverse accents.
• Benchmark Arabic TTS voices across providers (e.g., Azure, Google, ElevenLabs), considering clarity, expressiveness, latency, etc.
• Provide structured feedback on your findings.

Required skills and experience

• Native Arabic speaker, located in the UAE or KSA.
• Strong proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• 2+ years in a Quality Assurance Engineer role
• Experience in testing for web and mobile platforms.
• Familiarity with bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
• Experience writing and executing test cases and creating detailed reports.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies and QA best practices.
• Available for 15-20 hours per week or more.
