LeadGen & Sales Outreach Specialist

We are looking for a Lead Generation & Outreach Specialist with experience in outbound sales for biotech and pharmaceutical clients. The ideal candidate knows the clinical research and medical imaging ecosystem, understands where imaging fits in the drug development lifecycle, and is comfortable driving structured outreach campaigns that deliver qualified meetings for the Business Development team.
This role is heavily focused on prospecting, targeted outreach, and generating consistent, high-quality leads. We are prioritizing candidates with experience at iCROs or medical-imaging vendors.
Candidates from life-science executive search / medical recruiting are also welcome, as their networks and ability to identify and approach niche decision-makers translate exceptionally well to this role.
Duties and responsibilities
- Run end-to-end outbound lead-generation workflows, including prospect research, list building, sequencing, and outreach.
- Identify the right stakeholders inside biotech and pharma (clinical ops, biometrics, imaging, study leads, outsourcing, etc.).
- Use email, LinkedIn, and other channels to engage targets and generate qualified intro calls for the BD team.
- Maintain and update leads, sequences, and pipeline status inside HubSpot.
- Understand core scientific and technical concepts in medical imaging and drug development to personalize messaging.
- Support creation of outbound messaging, value positioning, and scripts.
- Continuously refine outreach strategy – A/B testing subject lines, templates, timing, and ICP segmentation.
- Collaborate closely with BD leadership to improve lead quality and outreach productivity.
Required skills and experience
- 2+ years of outbound lead generation or inside sales experience.
- Prior experience at a CRO, medical imaging company, or biotech vendor, or experience as a life-science headhunter with strong networks.
- Proven track record in generating leads or meetings with biotech and pharma sponsors.
- Strong understanding of how biotech and pharma organizations make decisions in clinical development.
- CRM experience with HubSpot.
- Excellent written communication – capable of crafting concise, compelling outreach messages.
- Ability to quickly learn and articulate scientific, imaging, and technical concepts.
- Strong research skills; creative in finding stakeholders and building prospect lists.
- Analytical mindset with a bias toward experimentation and optimization.
- Self-driven, persistent, and comfortable with metrics-driven goals.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with medical imaging modalities, imaging workflows, or clinical trial endpoints.
- Previous employment at one of the target iCRO companies.
- Experience generating leads in complex B2B environments with multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
