Head of Marketing

We are looking for a Head of Marketing for our client, a leading UK medical imaging CRO for Clinical Trials.

This is a hands-on leadership role for a versatile professional who can combine strategic vision with tactical execution. The ideal candidate will lead the launch of a modern corporate website and build a strong, content-driven marketing presence from the ground up.

You will manage a team of a content creator, WordPress developer, and designer, and personally contribute to website structure planning, SEO optimization, content creation and further lead generation activities. You’ll play a key role in making the company’s marketing function measurable, scalable, and growth-oriented.

The role requires close collaboration with the company’s CEO, ensuring marketing goals are aligned with evolving business objectives and delivered through fast, focused execution.

Your Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of launching the new corporate website, including content structure, SEO alignment, user experience, and visual design.
  • Lead and coordinate the work of a small marketing team: WordPress developer, designer, and content creator.
  • Oversee the development of a content strategy and publishing schedule that supports business goals.
  • Provide editorial direction, ensuring content quality and brand alignment; contribute to content writing when necessary.
  • Plan and manage targeted ABM campaigns and multichannel outreach (email, LinkedIn, paid ads), working with appropriate tools and platforms to reach high-value prospects.
  • Oversee and continuously optimize paid acquisition channels, including Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads, ensuring strong ROI and alignment with campaign objectives.
  • Act as the main marketing counterpart to the CEO — aligning frequently on priorities, providing transparent progress updates, and rapidly iterating based on feedback.

What We Expect

  • 4+ years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in roles combining strategy, project ownership, and execution.
  • Proven ability to manage website projects end-to-end, including coordination with designers, developers, and content creators.
  • Strong understanding of content structure, SEO principles, and performance-oriented web presence.
  • Hands-on experience running and optimizing Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other paid channels.
  • Track record of launching and managing account-based marketing (ABM) and outreach campaigns.
  • Familiarity with outreach tools and platforms.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills; giving clear direction and managing deliverables.
  • Team management or cross-functional leadership experience.
  • Experience working closely with executive leadership, aligning marketing priorities with business goals.
