Who are we looking for

We are looking for a professional Java engineer who is able to work together with a client. Preferable location: Eastern Europe/Poland.

Duties and responsibilities

• Planning, designing, developing, debugging and maintaining new features;
• Resolve technical problems and critical thinking on the development approach;
• Write unit/integration/performance/e2e tests for your code;
• Documenting own services/algorithms/functionality;
• Collaborate and coordinate directly with a team (developers, product managers);

Required skills and experience

• 3+ years of experience in Java software development;
• Excellent knowledge of solution design, architectural analysis, and development;
• Excellent in Java/Java Core;
• Experience with Spring Framework, SpringBoot;
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL or Microsoft SQL Server;
• Experienced with microservices;
• Modern source control, build and continuous integration solutions;
• Upper-intermediate English level or higher is a must;

Will be a plus

• Previous experience working on Healthcare/HealthTech projects;
• Experience with medical imaging;
• Experience with Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM):
  • Experience with DICOM integrations for interoperability;
  • Experience with DICOM files;
  • Tumor detection;
  • Custom workflows creation and support;
